Lafayette, CA (May 29, 2015) ‐‐ Providence Medical Technology, Inc. today announced the full commercial launch of DTRAX Bone Screws in the U.S. market.
“This release represents an important step in broadening our platform of innovative, single-use instruments and implants for cervical fusion,” commented Jeff Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Providence Medical Technology. “Cervical fusion and indirect decompression with DTRAX products offers a compelling, tissue-sparing option for patients suffering from cervical radiculopathy.”
DTRAX Bone Screws are indicated for use in bone reconstruction, osteotomy, arthrodesis, joint fusion, fracture repair, and fracture fixation appropriate for the size of the device. Screws are intended for single use only.

“I am encouraged by the surgeon adoption and positive patient outcomes of DTRAX products,” continued Smith. “The expansion of our cervical platform provides surgeons with additional options when treating patients with cervical radiculopathy.”
Providence’s products will be on display at the North American Spine Society (NASS) Annual Meeting, October 14-17, 2015 at the McCormick Place West, at Booth #623.
