Stanmore Medical Investments is pleased to announce that Safewire, a Medvest Fund One portfolio company, was an industry sponsor for the 4th Annual One Spine Residents and Fellows Course at the prestigious Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, WA, held over the weekend of August 16-18. In collaboration with renowned faculty, Safewire provided training in the principals of minimally invasive spine surgery to an international group of senior surgical residents and spine fellows.
This event marks the beginning of Safewire’s focus on providing in-depth surgeon training on the principals of safer and more efficient techniques for performing minimally invasive spine surgery. With a recent investment from Medvest Fund One and strategic planning provided by SMI, Safewire will be busy over the next 18 months launching exciting new product line extensions to its Y-Wire and Tiger Needle products. As Safewire adds to its team of seasoned sales and marketing staff, it will be participating in additional events like One Spine.
